Thanks for the update, I'm able to connect now. However, with the new update I am getting BoD on my work computer. There have been several while faroo was running, but none while it was not. I have disabled faroo for now as I need to work, but will try to enable it again later to see if I can give you more information about the error message.

Quick snapshot I took while it crashed, missed left part of the screen. The sys file at the end is NETIO.SYS

Thanks for the screenshot. What Windows version you are running, and is it 32 or 64 bit? What Antivirus/Firewall program you are using?
While we are obviously extensively using the network, it is done solely through .NET managed code.
This is said to prevent any BSoD and to give regular exceptions instead (but of course we never know).

There are some hints that this may be caused by the (outdated/corrupted/modified by antivirus programs) network driver itself:
https://www.google.com/search?q=netio.sys+bsod

The reason why you are getting the BSoD while Faroo is running might be that we are using the network more intense than other programs (tcp, udp, ip4, ip6, different ports etc.). We have running the new version continuously on several computers for one week without interruption here. Perhaps you could try it on a different computer, with different network driver and antivirus program?

64 bit windows 7 with McAfee (agent=4.5.0.1719, enterprise=8.8.0.849) with windows firewall.

I do not have other windows based machines running, but I'll see if I can find someone who does.

We are developing on 64 bit Windows 7 machines with windows firewall.
Might indeed be an McAfee problem:
