What does "Browser based Search Access" mean?

Postby afita » Mon May 13, 2013 11:59 pm

Hello.

What does "Browser based Search Access" in the Options->Options tab mean? I see "Local", "Local+Intranet", "Local+Intranet+Internet", but I can't imagine what it's for.

Thanks.

Faroo has an embedded web server, which provides the user interface.
Per default you may access the Faroo embedded web server/user interface only from your own computer.
But you may also allow a remote access to your p2p client (e.g. the p2p client is running at your home, but you want to search this client from your office).
